Five Tools for Navigating the Waters of Change
-
Make a conscious choice to treat everyone with respect and understanding,
remembering to use firm boundaries with compassion when communicating with
others. Strive for healthy relationships that are interdependent not dependent.
Provide service to others frequently. When we help others we help ourselves
in ways we never could have imagined.
-
When we become empowered, the Universe will always check to see how committed
we are. Tests are challenging but they provide us with the opportunity to
practice the tools we have learned. Once we have mastered the lesson,
we are done. The sooner we face our fears, the quicker we will rise above them.
-
When birthing something new, there will be labor pains. Birthing causes
temporary uncomfortablility, but when it is over, a brand new worldview is
born bringing us a renewed sense of purpose.
-
Choose to see abundance rather than lack. Pay attention to the overflowing
beauty of the glass rather than its meager contents.
-
It is important to fill up our spiritual gas tanks daily. Practice rituals
such as reading uplifting material, praying, meditating, listening to music,
communing with nature, exercising and yoga. Anything that quiets our minds
and brings us back to a place of peace is a blessing. Starting the day with
uplifting thoughts or affirmations before our feet even hit the floor is
spiritual breakfast for our souls.
